Yes, as a matter of fact, a Thurston descendant from Charlotte, NC, let me borrow her copy of that book several years ago. Since I had been doing research for many years, I recognized some of the names of the Virginia Thurstons, as well as some from the New England states who had migrated south. However, my connection was not in there....or, if it is, I don't know it as yet.

Thanks anyway. As I write this, I think I have stumbled upon some possible connections to the Browns, which will, inevitably lead me to more Thurston connections. I hope so, anyway.
