In an abandoned cemetery behind an old African Methodist Episcopal Church (later called House of Jacob)in Berryville is a tombstone for Elizabeth M. Lovett (c1851-1875) & a double stone for Joseph & Sarah Ann McCleary. From what little I can find for Elizabeth she was a twin daughter of William S/C Lovett & wife Sarah Ann of Winchester. I can find out nothing about the McClearys. The cemetery was not available for the new cemetery book listings and I found these names in a news article. Any info on persons buried in this cemetery, or even these folks will be greatly appreciated. Mary Morris, Archivist, Clarke Co. Hist. Assoc.
