Don't know if you still need this information but thought I would send this. This book contains abstracts and sometimes what you find is cryptic as in this case. Nonetheless here is what I found on page 78:

WB 2: 78 William Staples, Senior Will
18 June 1795; probate 7 December 1795
Wife Mary Staples then youngest son Joshua Staples. Daughter Nancey Monday. All my children. Exec. wife Mary, William Staples Junior, Webster and Elijah Staples. Witness: William Robertson, Griffin Dodd, Robert Geers.

Then there is on page 132: Inventory and appraisal of the estate of William Staples dec. Taken September 1796. Recorded 3 September 1798.

On page. 160b Account current of estate of William Staples from 29 September 1797. Recorded 6, January 1800.

Then on page 288: Sale of the estate of Elijah Staples decd. 16 December 1803. William Staples, Stephen Staples, thomas Staples, benjamin Atkins and James Harvel were the purchasers. Half of the property rendered for sale was Eliah Staples decd the other half belonging to Wm. Staples. A list of negroes 1/4 part the property of Elijah Staples decd the balance belonging to Thomas and William Staples.
