I am a Farrell/Ferrell, and have been talking with Linda Lawson on the Newcomb/Tombs families that married into the Ferrell's from VA.. Josh mentioned in this letter is possibly Josh Ferrell/Farrell. Joel Farrell/Ferrell and Mary Jane Newcomb Ferrell's family. They migrated to Texas in and around 1870's.. The son of Joel Farrell was Hillory Allen Farrell/Ferrell who married Edmonia Tombs.. There are other Tombs and Newcombs in our line as well.. Please reply.
