All our info states is Daniel Hendrick was born
in Amelia Co., Va. But he lived in Charlotte
Co., Va. for many years. As a matter, of fact,
his daughter, Polly/Mary Hendrick, married
our ggg-grandfather, Thomas Newcomb, in 1817.
Their daughter, Prudence Newcomb, married, our
gg-grandfather, Abraham Copal, from Germany.

Daniel Hendrick was Prudence Newcomb's grandfather, as stated in his will, in 1841,
Charlotte Co., Va.

When Polly/Mary Hendrick-Newcomb died in 1876,
her daughter, Prudence, stated she was nearly
"100" years old, & Polly's parents were Daniel
& Hattie Hendrick. Also her obit in the
Charlotte Gazette, mentions her father, Daniel,
being a Revolutionary War soldier. Her husband,
Thomas Newcomb was a soldier in the War of 1812.

No real date has been established for Daniel's
marriage. His daughter, Polly, was born Abt. 1780. I am hoping to find some record of either
Daniel's marriage or the birth of his daughter,
Polly/Mary Hendrick.

Would appreciate ANY info you could give us.
Daniel Hendrick, seems to have died around
1843, in Charlotte Co., Va. This is based on
the date & time of the court records stating
his will & the value of his estate, after hs
death.

I hope this CLEARS this up for you and your
research.
