All the Sturdivants are related in some form
or another. We may not want to claim everyone But we are all from the branch from
England. The sturdivant inter married with
Native American, Cherokee, Chocktaw, African
American and Native American Mixers.
Robert Sturdivant came to Columbus,MS and
had three Children,(Wife was Mary), Charles, Lucy and Armstead Sturdivant. There are many Sturdivants in Columbus, MS. As far as
many of the know the are not related. When Slavery ended Roberts' land was divided among his children. There were slaves involved who were also part black foot.
I'm trying to Track Armstead Sturdivant who was my great grand father who was Black Foot
and African or Chrokee from Virginia.
All the Sturdivants came from the Family from England. John Anderson Sturdivant married Rachel. ChiChester children were John and Thomas. The Sturdivant went back to
Lamar County and Vanished. Armstead Married
Camilia Robertson who was my great grand parents from Christian Hill Mississippi,
Christian Hill is not listed any where. I
