Actually there was a Pearman family still in Charles City County, VA in 1850-1900 period. My Great-uncle George Braxton McManus (2nd) married an Annie Pearman Denny on September 2, 1891 in CCC, VA. She was listed in the marriage register for Charles City County as Annie Denny, maiden name Pearman, daughter of J.F. & M.E. Pearman (George & Annie were both widowed). I thought this might help if you could locate descendants of these later Pearman family groups. Happy Hunting, Linda
