Thank you for the VA Tax Lists, its great. Although, as you said, a little hard to read.

I own a copy of "A Supplement to the 1810 Census of Virginia - Tax Lists of the Counties for which the Census is Missing", Transcribed and Edited by Netti Schreiner-Yantis, Genealogist. Copyright 1971. Would this book or any of its contents be of help? It covers the following counties:

Louisa, Halifax, Tazewell, Pittsylvania, Greenbrier, Henry, Grayson, Hardy, James City, King William, Cabell, Mecklenburg, Northampton, Orange, Patrick, Russell, Nansemond, and Lee. It also has an Appendix covering Middlesex (tax list), Middlesex (census) and Indexes for Free Negroes and Mulatoes and White Tithables. Let me know at
