Tyler Quarterly Magazine 2T 113(issue) page 278
Deed written 01 Aprl 1714 William HUNT and Tabitha his wife of Charles City Co., VA coneyed land on the Nottoway to William HAMILIN. This memorandum states that they had two daughters Mary born May 15, 1695 married Robert MINGE, and another daughter who married John MACON.
I figured that this William HUNT was born c 1650 as his son was John HUNT was born C 1678. I based John HUNT's age on a patent. In 1699, John HUNT Gentleman pat.1839 acs in Charles City, Weynoak Parish.
Tabith was not an UNDERWOOD. There were a number of woman whose first name was Tabith living in the area.
On my list to be researched are:
1. Tabitha TRAMMELL
2. Tabitha PARKER
3. Tabath BROWN 1673 Accomack Co.
4. Tabitha WHITE
5. Tabitha MINGE
In the book "Adventures of Purse and Person" Under the "EDLOE Family" page 158 that helped me sort out some of the confusion.
Judy Oldziewski has a good post on GeForum on Tabitha.
Good luck in your search.
