Yesterday, I turned my attention to my Woodward lines to "clean" up some bothersome discrepancies re Christopher Woodwards antecedants. Very quickly I discovered that IT WAS A DISASTER. Eventually in 1, 2 or 3 generations everyone ends up with an Eduard Woodward of England circa 1500; but inbetween are a variety of Christophers and their wives who appear to be shuffled together with no regard to ages, names, accuracy or facts. What started as some "housekeeping" duties have now become my quest. The upside is that I have a new respect for this remarkable family.
At one point I had a copy of Adventures of Purse and Script(?) but it disappeared in a home burglery.
I notice that it has been several years since this strand of info; however, am hoping this reaches someone who is willing to give me some direction. (I don't link into the Woodward/Woodards until 1848 when Harrriet Woodward/Woodard, dau of John&Elizabeth Blackwell Woodward, married John Robert Franks in Macon, North Carolina)Please don't hesitate to contact me at
