Annie- There are several Zachariah Phillips to whom your line might apply. If you can supply me with some dates (dob or dod) and the NC County in which he was located, and wheere the next location was---ie AL, GA etc. I will try to help. Incidentally, one of those associated with Zachariah married a Ruth Beall in Georgia. My Email is r.phillips0288@sbcglobal.net
If we can determine which line he might have come out of I may be able to tell you how beneficial the DNA test might prove. There is considerable differences in opinion of some of the Phillips lines with a Zachariah in them that originated in VA and then went to NC and then GA.
