DODSON/PLUME Charles City Co, Jamestown

I have an ancestor that came over from England on the Susan Constant in April of 1607 to Charles City, VA, Jamestown settlement. His name was John DODSON {b ABT 1588 in England, d before 1670 in Richmond Co, VA} According to this website:

http://www.primenet.com/~langford/spls/607va003.htm

John DODSON was listed on John SMITH's {the English man who was "saved" by Pocahontas} The First Settlers as a Laborer. He married a Jane _____, who supposedly came over from England on a different ship and at a later time.

There is also a rumor that this Jane was a woman named JANE PLUME who married the same John DODSON around 1619. Her father was CHIEF EAGLE PLUME- Native American. Confusion is all around whether this Jane was from England and came over w/ John DODSON, or was she a Native American who he married when he came to Jamestown.

Also, in the meantime, I would like to ask if anyone has heard of this CHIEF EAGLE PLUME. It would have been late 1500s-early 1600s that he was alive. Possibly from the Powhatan indian tribe which was prominent at that time and place. Hope someone can help!!
