The old Quaker Cemetery is located near the intersection of Rt 727 and 97 in Piper's Gap in Carroll County. It's a rather large cemetery but all the graves aren't marked since the Quakers did not believe in tombstones.

It's one of the older cemeteries in the county and does not have any Paynes or Davises (at least in any marked graves.) There are several Hanks, Wards, Frosts and Bedsauls, however.

A book on the cemeteries of Carroll is available from the Historical Society for $45.
