Reuben & Nancy Golden 1880

I am looking for help with the family of Reuben and Nancy Golden who were listed in the 1880 US census for the Fancy Gap District of Carroll County VA.
Reuben (60) and Nancy (49) have eight children; Nicholas (Frost) (20), Elizabeth (18), Arzina (15), James (16), and John H (12), Martha (7), Reuben S (6) and Richard H (5) . They are living in household # 327 of the Fancy Gap Township of Carroll County Va.
I am trying to find out what happened to Nancy & Reuben Golden's family between 1880 & 1900. I believe that the two youngest boys listed in this family in 1880 are the young men listed in the household of Elizabeth Golding in the Dobson township of Surry County NC in 1900.
Elizabeth 35, listed as a widow, lives with four young individuals listed as her children, Sanders 23, Richard 21, Nancy 13, and Dona 11. They live in Household #98 in Dobson.
On their draft registration forms, the young men's names are give as Reuben Saunders Golding and Richard Houston Golding. Both girls later married Bowman brothers from Patrick County; Nancy married Thomas J Bowman and Dona married his brother John H Bowman. Nancy & Thomas were my father's parents.
I will be grateful for any information or leads you can provide.
Byron Bowman
