Mr. Vestal,

He was Pyrrhus Boyd, a s/o William Boyd and Sarah Childress; she was born in NC abt 1824, he in VA the same year. Pyrrhus was born abt 1847. He and Elizabeth were in Carroll County in 1900.

I should add that I don't believe J. P. Alderman's theory about the parents of Thomas Greenwood. Bartlett Greenwood had a son named Thomas C. who md Lockie Conner.
