Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I think you have the wrong Robert Goad. One Abraham was a son of John (who married Ann Isham) as was Robert who moved to Maury County, Tenn. ca 1803 and died there. Robert who settled in Grayson was the son of Abraham and Joanna Goad of Pittsylvania County, Va. He (Abe)died there in 1779.Their Robert died in Grayson ca 1835. Both this Robert and Abraham, son of John, left descendants in Grayson/Carroll County.- Ken Haas
