In case anyone on this list is interested in attending the upcoming Caroline County, VA Genealogy conference, I believe the sign-up has been extended to accommodate late-comers. This wonderful event will begin on Friday, and go through Saturday into early evening.
This is a great opportunity to meet others focused on this county, hear some superb speakers advise on what we can do to deal with the unfortunate lack of Caroline Co, VA records, and maybe manage to break through some brick walls.
Speakers at the event include Barbara Vines Little, Herbert Collins (who wrote the books--3 volumes!--on Caroline county cemeteries), Kimberly Campbell (author of several important references on the county, and more.

Note that though the deadline says the 16th, it appears that it has been extended, according to an e-mail I have received.
