I believe you have located my great-grandfather, Charles Jacob Myers. My grandmother, who died in 1994, was wife to Charles Jacob Myers, the son of the same name. She advised that Charles Jacob Myers was born in Germany and was a butcher living in Caroline County, VA, and that he was married twice, the second time to Mary Molly Skinner of Bowling Green, VA. He and Mary had at least three children, Charles Jacob Myers in 1895, Bessie and Alvin. My grandmother indicated that he died in 1917. The only conflicting point that I have is that my grandmother believed he was born in 1834.
