I have a copy of a will from a Dr. William Irvine,1796: Lynchburg,VA. In this will he exonerates a Thomas Humphreys from payment of said amount on the books.
Anyone have any more information on this Thomas Humphreys? Dr. Irvine also mentions a brother James and sisiter Jane in Co Westmoreland,PA. Also he says 2 other brothers (Alexander & Baptis) and 2 sisiter (Margaret & Elizabeth) who will come from Ireland within a years time to PA.
My interest is the tie to the surname Humphreys found within the will??
