I'm still looking for information about Hubbard Brown, who was born about 1830. He was one of a large family who lived near "Hell Bend" on the Staunton River. He married Sarah Irby, of Pittsylvania County. I was told that there's a mountain, named "Brown Mountain" for the then owner, on the old tract.
I'm interested, not only in connecting Hubbard to parents and siblings, but to any family graveyard that may be in the area.
