The general membership meeting of the Campbell County Historical Society (CCHS) will be held October 24th at 2:00 pm at the Old Historic Courthouse in Rustburg and will be a driving tour. You may drive your own car or carpool with others.
The Pannill Tour will include Green Hill, which was owned by Samuel Pannill who purchased the property in 1797, Cedar Forest, which was built in 1845 by Samuel Thomas Miller, who married Frances Elizabeth Fitzpatrick in 1817, Cedar Forest Mill and Buttercup Plantation (Fitzpatrick House) probably built circa 1825 by John Fitzpatrick's grand-daughter (one of David's daughters), who married another (cousin) John Fitzpatrick. David Fitzpatrick married Sarah Bailey Morton Pannill, niece of Samuel Pannill.
