Hi, Deb, after reading your message, it is obvious the Catharine Moss of whom you speak is not the Catharine (Brown) Moss in my line. I have her on the 1860 Census with some of her sons. No daughters with her. It still may be there is a connection to the Moss families from Goochland, Louisa, etc. There were Andersons close by in Goochland in the 1800s. Good luck in your hunting.
