I don't know if this is the Catharine Moss you inquire about, but here is what I know about one Catharine (Brown) Moss, whose parents may have been William G. Brown and Elizabeth, found in Buckingham on, I believe, the 1850 or 1860 Census. They may or may not be the William Brown and Elizabeth Edds who married in Louisa County in early 1800s (about 1816).

Anyway, I know a Catharine Brown married a John Moss. Catharine had a sister, Nancy, may have been a nickname, who married Robert B. Thurston in Goochland. Robert and Nancy had a daughter, Elizabeth, who married an Anderson in Kanawha County, WV. This Catharine (Brown) Moss would have been an aunt to Elizabeth (Thurston) Anderson's children. May be a connection. (Catharine and John Moss split and she later married a Robert Glass.)
