I have just gotten started on this area but I believe that the Gad in records is the husband of Sally Nunally and two of their children were a Gad and John that ended up in Robertson County TN. I have been researching the John N and Gad in TN. Gad comes by 1812-15 and John N comes around 1820. Gad dies in 1847 and John N in 1834 with minor children. On the web I found the reference to Sally Nunally marrying Gad Blankenship which appeared to be likely as Gad and John N's parents. Looking at the Buckingham county records this seems liklely. Then I looked at Chesterfield county and found a Gad Blankenship as grandson of Walter Nunnallee. This is a new possible connection so its certainly not proven but seems possible. Does any of this correspond to data you have found? If so I'll give you more detail on John N and Gad in TN.
