Alexander Hopkins b. 1784 Old Richmond, VA raised in Buckingham County, VA. Veteran of War of 1812. M. Peggy Jackson 9/25/1809 Burke Co, NC. Arrived Laurel Co, KY abt 1826. Seeking his parentage or anything else on him. Father is possibly John or Charles Hopkins who were bros in this county when Alexander was growing up there. This John Hopkins from Goochland Co is a descendant of Dr. Arthur Hopkins. Can anyone offer a possible connection?
