Richard O. Warinner family roots

Richard O. Warinner, my g.g.grandfather was from Virginia. The 1820 census shows an Elizabeth Warinner from Buckingham Co. The correct family spelling of our family surname is "Warinner", not Warriner as it is sometimes spelled. Elizabeth could be Richard's mother - the ages for her children seem to match. I'm looking for conformation of this and any other pertinent information.
