Matney, Joseph 1895? VA

I have just started researching my family history. I am the daughter of Burl Matney[b1925-d1986] and Jean Beatrice {Lockheart}Matney[b1936-d1984]. Burl was the son of Joseph Matney[b1895?-d1967?] and Roey {Baily}Matney[b1897?-d?]. Joseph was the son of Daniel[b1862?-d?]and Angeline {?}Matney[B1862?-d?]. The census records list all as born in VA. Joseph, Roey, Daniel and Angeline lived and was buried in the Guesses Fork area of Buchanan County, Virginia.I know where they are buried. That is about as far as I have been able to go. I think Daniel's father may have been John, but I am not sure. The 1870 census lists a John with a 9 year old son named Daniel, so I am still searching. Does anyone have any information on Daniel, Angeline or Roey?
Phyllis
