Janice,

I have lived in Buchanan County most of my life. I've never heard of Vancrest. I'm sure you are referring to Vansant. Vansant is located about 3 mile east of Grundy. The Stiltner name has a long line of history in Buchanan County and possibly the first permanent pioneer settler was a Stiltner.
