JAMES ROBERT LEWIS
s/o FLEMING LEWIS & POLLY ANN VANDYKE
Born: 1 November 1884 in Tazewell Co. VA
Died: 15 July 1967 in Grundy, Buchanan Co. VA
Buried: Whitt Cemetery in Rowe, Buchanan Co. VA beside his wife.
Married: NANCY E. WHITT, d/o GEORGE WHITT & MARY (UNKNOWN). Nancy was born abt. 1884, died abt. 1951
CHILDREN OF JAMES ROBERT LEWIS & NANCY E. WHITT:
1. Louise Lewis born abt. 1905
2. Windel Lewis born abt. 1906
3. Cora Belle Lewis born abt. 1910
4. Orabelle Lewis born abt. 1910
Love to find obituaries on this couple or any information. What I am attempting to do is trace this Lewis line backward but I am spining my wheels and getting no where it seems. Will take any ideas or help given.
Again, many thanks ahead of time, for your help on this family history project. James is a brother to my Grandmother LULA LOUISE LEWIS born 14 March 1886 in Richlands, Tazewell Co. VA, died 18 April 1971 in Welch, McDowell Co. VA.
