Did you ever find the parents of Eleaner Hobbs. My John and Nancy Hobbs had 4 older females in the 1840 Logan Co Va census and I have never found them. In Buchanan Co Va, John and Nancy are living beside Connally Deel. Connally Deel has a woman age 78 named Eleanor living with him. I figured it was someone's grandmother. I am wondering if maybe Eleaner was an older daughter of John and Nancy Hobbs. I will keep looking. Was the Thomas family ever in Kentucky or Logan Co Va?
