Dear Mr.Boyd,
The minning accident you have given me was not the one I was looking for, but the John Rowe you wrote about could be a relation to me. I posted a message in McDowell Co and got a response from a lady who had info on a minning accident on October 12, 1932. This is the last known date I have on Jefferson D Rowe. His son was killed in that accident and his name was given on the death certificate as the person giving the info. I have been looking for this man who was my great grandfather for 10 years and can't seem to find anymore on him or his wife. I have no marriage or death on either one. I have all the children and some of the spouses of the children. But nothing on him. In the 1920 Buchanan census he states he is 55 and his wife is 45. The wife is another problem on some census she gives her name as Mary J and on the 1920 she says her name is Pollie. If you have any ideas on where I should look or can find anything on them after 1932 I would GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. this mystery is driving me carzy. I'm at a dead end and I hope you can help.

Sincerely,

Gail
