Are there other researchers that are also searching for descendants of Christopher and Sarah Chappell Mason? There are many missing pieces to the puzzle of these Masons of Brunswick County Va.

I for one, have been trying to locate the descendants of William Mason and Peggy Jones Hall(widow). William Mason was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Watson Mason and the grandson of Christopher and Sarah Mason. Peggy was the daughter of Samuel and Lillie Holloway Jones of Sussex Co. William is listed as having died in 1813 on Batte's cards at the LVA, yet he and Peggy were selling land in Brunswick Co. in 1815 and 1820. Apparently there is a mixup between William Mason, son of Joseph and the William Mason son of Nathaniel and Judith Stewart Mason.

Secondly, we have Thomas Mason who was the son of Christopher and Sarah Mason. This Thomas Mason was still living at the death of his mother Sarah Chappell Mason and is listed in her will. I have noticed that Thomas has not been noted as a son of Christopher and Sarah on several websites.

I sure hope there are other Christopher Mason researchers that will read this and help us to sort out these lines of Christopher and Sarah Mason.
