I am not sure about the feeling in Brunswick County about the Revolutionary war, but I do know I had ancestors in Bute, NC during the war and they moved right after the war was over to Orange County, NC. Not sure why they moved. I know there were papers signed by many men in Bute county saying they supported the War. My ancestor signed it.
