Hello,
I saw your query of four years ago. I was wondering if you found info on William Pinnell. If you haven't, did
you check out Bute (now Franklin and Warren) County, NC.
The Pinnell family moved there in 1760. Before that they lived on Merrehin River in North Carolina. Before that they lived in Isle of Wight Co., VA. And before that, they lived in Accomack Co., VA. The family arrived in VA in 1641. Pinnell goes under variant spellings such as Pannell, Panuel, Pennell, Penil, etc.
