She must have been born in the community of NEW in Brunswick County Virginia as there is no NEW BRUNSWICK. Brunswick was created from Prince George Co Virginia in 1746 Before that, the western part of Brunswick was Surry County Virginia and the eastern Part was Isle of Wight County Virginia.
In 1781 Greensville County was taken from the eastern part of Brunswick County. Then in 1788 a small portion of Eastern Brunswick County was annex to Greensville County.
