I have a William H. Tudor in my tree, born July ___, 1867, the son of Robert G. Tudor and Nancy W. Butler, of Brunswick Co., VA. He is believed to be buried in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery in Powellton, VA, off Highway 611.

Could this be your W.H. Tudor? If not, is your W.H. Tudor a descendant of Peterson Tudor, of Brunswick and Greensville Cos., VA? I have not yet found a connection between my line and Peterson's, but given the proximity of these 2 Tudor lines (in both geography and time), there must be a connection. I have thought that Peterson was the son of John Tudor and Milly Spurlock, of Mecklenburg Co., VA, and that John Tudor was the brother of Robert Tuder of Brunswick Co. (who died there in 1827 and who is the great-grandfather to my William H. Tudor above), but I have no proof.
