You did not mention a time period for your Wm. Lawson.
The info I have on a Wm. Lawson was in the 1730-40's. I do not know who his wife was. Only that he was a surveyor with my John and Wm. Rogers at the time in Brunswick/Lunenberg and Bedford Co.'s of Va. He was also with John Rogers surveying in Granville district of North Carolina.
My William Rogers, son of John, is thought to have married Licia Lawson, prob. the dau. of William Lawson. He named a Bartle and Jonas Lawson in his Will in Bedford Co., Va. in 1756.
Hope this is of some help to you.
