I am needing to find someone who is researching the Robert Latimer who married Martha Talley. Their marriage record is:
Robert Latimer to Martha Talley on December 26, 1791 in Brunswick Co., VA with Jesse Penn as security.
This same Robert Latimer was bond/surety for a Joel Talley who married Rebecca Rose (application was August 23, 1796 actual marriage was September 8, 1796), also in Brunswick Co.
I need to know who the parents of the Martha Talley was, and if she was a sibling to the Joel Talley.
I have been trying to find the parents/siblings of a William Talley who married a Rebecca Briggs on November 2, 1799, also in Brunswick Co., VA.
It has occurred to me that all three of these Talley (William, Joel and Martha Tally) might be siblings. I need to find someone who is researching some of these others.
Along with these other three Talley, there was also a Betsy Talley who married a John Rose on December 7, 1801 in Brunswick Co., VA. With Joel Talley as surety/bond.
That makes a total of four Talley being married in Brunswick Co., VA, in a nine year period. I can't help but believe that they are siblings, but I NEED help from someone who is researching these other lines. I have tried the Rose board, but so far no luck.
Any help would be GREATLY appreicated.
