Bim,

Carolyn and I have corresponded before, as her ancestor, Rev. John Meglamre, performed the ceremony at the marriage of my ancestor, James Turner (will recorded 1794, Sussex) to his 2nd wife, Frances Bass BETTS, dau. of Bartholomew Betts of Sussex.

Based on information provided by another (which I have not verified), I have a cousin named Edmunds Mason, born 10 Apr 1770 (APR), son of James and Betty Mason. Supposedly, "Betty" Mason was Elizabeth HARRISON, born 12 Sept 1743 (APR), daughter of John Harrison and Susanna EDMUNDS, my 6th great aunt.

The "s" in Edmunds often is dropped during transcriptions. Do you happen to know if "Edmund" Mason, bondsman for Peyton Mason, is the same person as my Edmunds?
