Hi Bim,

Thanks so much for the information that you are sending our way. It is greatly appreciated. I believe at one time you posted on the Sussex Co. VA website regarding Raccoon Swamp Baptist Church, later renamed Antioch. Rev. John Meglamre/McGlamery the founder of the church, was my fourth great grandfather. Small world isn't it? (smile)

You probably have this information, but will send just in case. Richard Mason married Mary Woodford 1799. Mary's daughter Pulley Woodford married Henry Tudor Jr. in 1812. (consent of Richard and Mary Mason). Then Sarah Jane Mason, daughter of Charles Mason and neice of Richard Mason first married Burrell Whitehorn Jan. 7,1830. Burrell Whitehorn being the son of Thomas Whitehorn of Sussex County. Following the death of Burrell, Sarah Jane married Henry Tudor Jr. in March 1839. I am also the fourth ggranddaughter of John Whitehorn Sr. of Sussex Co.

I am at this stage in my search for the parents of Thomas R. Mason b. Oct. 25, 1818 in Greensville Co. VA. I now know that Thomas Mason's parents died when he was a small boy and he was raised by an uncle. I still do not have the names of the parents nor the uncle. Sure look forward to your posting.
