Boughan and Ward

I'm searching for information on a Gabriel BOUGHAN (also spelled BAUGHAN, BAUGHN, and even VAUGHAN), who was a native of Essex County, Virginia, and was born in 1777. Sometime between 1800 and 1819, he moved to Brunswick County, Virginia, before returning to Essex about 1822 or 1823. His wife, about whom I have found very little, was Milly WARD. They had children Thomas BOUGHAN (born 1814), Elizabeth A. BOUGHAN (born about 1815) and Caston BOUGHAN (born about 1820). I recently discovered their stay in Brunswick while looking through the land tax records of Essex, which indicate that for several years Gabriel was in Brunswick. Has anyone come across this family in Brunswick County records?
