Botetourt County-I know how to find the answers to our questions!!!!!

This may not be the complete answer but for people like me that are stumped I think this may be it. The Fincastle Herald -Botetourt County Newspaper was founded in 1866 and is published weekly-I keep thinking about all the older people in that area that do not have computer and don't know that we are searching. I think a "short" article (like----Parr Family 1891-George W.Parr and Eliza Parr his mother were living in Botetourt in 1891 when she died and George died 1907-08-09 when he died on the Owens farm in District 10-searching for burial-does anyone know anything) would only be about $25.00 and if a lot of us sent in the articles-it seems they would have to print them. The address is P. O. Box 127 Fincastle, Va. 24090 phone is 54-992-4171 fax is 540-473-2741. If we could get it started a subscription is only $24.00 a year and maybe we could find a lot of information. I would just put my address and email for replies. Joy
