minick's early 1800's

I am looking for information about brothers Michael, Peter, Philip and Benjamin Minick who resided in Botetourt Co., in the late 1700's through the early 1800's. Michael, peter, and Philip all migrated to Clark and Champaign Co., OH in the early 1800's. Benjamin seems to disappear after 1810 census. I am curious as to his date of death and his wife's name.

My 2nd great-grandmother was a Mary Francis Minick who married Jacob Moore in 1817 in Montgomery Co., OH. Jacob wrote in 1830 that Mary was the daughter of Benjamin Minick and was born in 1800 in VA. This is the only Benjamin that fits the time and location to be her father. Could he have died and Mary was sent to live with one of his brothers in OH and there met and married Jacob Moore?

Any information would be valuable.

Thanks
Sharon Mang
