I have only seen some blubs on this part of the Mayes line. I'm not sure if some of the big Mayes researchers have any links are not. My side of the Mayes came from Henry Co, Va. Settled in Claiboure Co Tn. Do not know if there is connection with the Mayes's in Logan Co. This is what I do know. William and Susannah marriage bond was posted in Grainger Co Tn. William Sr, Susannah father, sold land to them at Marrowbone Ky.(yr 1810). Five years later they sold their land and move to Sumner Co Tn. Susanah was born in Virgina? Don't know where. Her father was suppost to have been a loyalist, originally from Wales(have seen no documneted proof.) Sorry so long winded. It is just utterly facinating to me. Find hard to believe there is not a connetion somewhere. I just need to keep digging!!!
