I am looking for info on the Mays of Botetourt county. The first was JOHN who came to Va. From Pa. John served in the 4th Pa.Regt. Capt. Fishbornes Co. He was born about 1740 in Lancaster Pa. He married Mary Rusk. Their children were...................

Matthew b 1-1-1774 Pa. Died 1-16-1841 Botetourt County. He married Ester Reid 1-8-1799 Botetourt County.

Robert b. 3-20-1766 Pa. Died in Green Co., KY. Margarte McClanahan b. 2-22-1771 in VA. Died 10-22-1846 in KY.

James Sr. b. 6-13-1764 d. 6-30-1853 Botetourt County. Married Mary Reid b. 4-20-1775 d. 11-8-1846

Susanna Married John Tate

Mary Polly married William Cross 9-24-1795 in Botetourt County.
