Lee,
I just checked my "trusty" 1999 VA Atlas & Gazeteer for "Baltimore" in Virginia. I found "Baltimore Corner," in Dinwiddie County, on state route 622, running due south of Ford, on US 460. No other Baltimore listed for Virginia. Nothing similar in Botetourt County. Botetourt is NOT near to Dinwiddie so don't know if this will help or not.

I also checked old road maps which I have kept back to 1950s, for this purpose!!! ;)

You also might go to your local library and check to see if they have older Gazeteers.

I don't recall having heard of a "Baltimore" in Botetourt, but that doesn't mean there never was one! ;) %
