Philip Peery/Bieri/Bery/etc., Bot. Co.,early 1800s

I am seeking information on Philip Peery/Biery/Biri/Bery/etc., who died in 1831 in Botetourt County, Virginia. My information shows that he had at least 3 children by his wife Elizabeth Dilling/Delling/Dellin, including (1) Mary Elizabeth (born Dec. 1769, died 24 Sep 1844 in Clark Co., Ohio) married to Frederick Miller (1760-1822); (2) Abraham (b. 1784/1792, d. 1854), mar. Mary Leffel, lived in Botetourt Co.; and (3) Daniel (b. 1779) mar. Martha Moore, lived in Rockingham Co., Va. Philip appears in Virginia records as Philip Peery, the surname form adopted by his descendants, but he signed his name Philip Bery in old German cursive script. According to a Miller Family genealogy, Frederick and Mary Elizabeth Peery Miller (my 3rd-great grandparents) were married in Cumberland County, Penn., before migrating to Botetourt Co., with a stop in Augusta Co., Va.

Various searches have turned up promising records for men named Philip Biri/Biery/Bieri/Beery in Lancaster Co., Pa. (First Reformed Congregation in Lancaster); Berks Co., Pa. (Longswamp Twp.); and Augusta Co., Va. (court and tax records). While I have not been able to definitively link these records and establish that they all relate to the same man, there are some shared facts that support such a conclusion plus the relative scarcity of the forename Philip among colonial Germanic settlers of the region. I am interested in any information on Philip (various forms of surname), including ancestry, descendants, and his life. Likewise I will be pleased to share what I have. I have information on the supposed link of Philip to the Scots-Irish Peery Family of the Shenandoah Valley, so that is not being requested. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and for providing any assistance you can.
