The quote "as reported by Kegley" is on page 96 of a book by McGrew - McMurtry "William Bryan Sr.. (1685-1789) of Ballyroney, Ireland and Roanoke Settlement, Virginia and some of His Descendants". Here is the way the remark was shown in the McGrew-McMurtry book. (Botetourt, County, Virginia Marriage Records as reported by Kegley (1938), p.539). So I guess that is the name of the book by Kegley.
