I would most certainly be interested! LOL.

My first documented AYERS ancestor was a LEANDER AYERS. He lived in Harrison County, Kentucky as a free man of color. He estimates his birthdate as 1792. And he claims MARYLAND as his birthplace.

He married a free woman of color named Susannah Lynem. They had several children. Lots of boys. Their son, Robert Ayers, was my gr-gr-gr-grandfather. The AYERS were a family of shoemakers.
