Hi, There have been a number of GIBSONs liveing in and around ROCKY GAP, some on DRY FORK. ED Gibson lived on DRY FORK,he was a Dup Shriff. He left that area in 1935 or so. ED's brother's son (also) Ed GIBSON and family lived on up Dry Fork for many years. Some of his kids still live there.
HENRY GIBSON lived just as you start up DRY FORK on the left side over on the hill. He lived there in 1940s i know as we lived 2 miles up DRY FORK.
He may have lived there for years. I am trying to find about Uncle Henry as we were taught to call him.
I want to learn about these GIBSONs for my 1st cousin JOSEPH VERNON GIBSON. He was the 1st ED's son.
Thank youand GOD BLESS,,,Wanda Fox Evensen
